Artist’s note:

The nine tailed fox is said to have originated in China before spreading to Japan (where it is called kitsune), and the rest of SE Asia. In Thailand, the nine tailed fox spirit protects you from black magic while connecting you seductively to the wilds of nature through its ability to shapeshift from one form to another.
